Sloan announces that Vince Wenos joins Sloan as vice president, engineering and R&D. The announcement was made by President and CEO Jim Allen.
“Vince brings a strong background in engineering and product design to Sloan”, Allen said. “I am confident that his expertise and years of leadership experience will take Sloan’s engineering and R&D team to the next level.”
Wenos, who has over 20 years of leadership experience in engineering and product development, will oversee the Engineering and R&D operations at Sloan. Wenos joins Sloan from Stanley Black & Decker where he served as vice president, global development and technology. Prior to that, he was the vice president of engineering and electrical disciplines at United Technologies, a multi-billion dollar Tier 1 global supplier of aerospace products and systems.

Wenos holds an MSE from Purdue University along with an MBA from The University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business. He will be based in Franklin Park, Ill.
