Bosch Condensing Tankless Achieves New Ultra-Low Nox Requirement
Bosch Thermotechnology North Americatankless models C 1210 ESC, C 1210 ES, C1050 ES and C 950 ES are currently the
only condensing tankless product series on the market that meets the new, more
strict, NOx requirements passed by utility regulatory agencies in California
and Vermont. Effective 2012, the new regulations require water-heating units to
limit noxious gas displacement in the heating process to less than 14 ng of NOx
per joule of energy consumed. The Bosch units use a unique design that produces
a lower flame temperature from the burner, and a wide flame pattern versus a
segmented burner assembly and diluted air used in the heating process.
