A new collaborative partnership called the Energy Efficiency Contractors’ Network will assist contractors in Ontario to help small – medium enterprises (SMEs) save money while using less energy. The network was recently granted $154,000 by the Conservation Bureau of the Ontario Power Authority to build an education program and a central database of local distribution carrier incentive programs. Nearly 99% of all businesses in Ontario are classified as SMEs; combined, they use 25% of the province’s electricity.
