TheEnergy Efficiency Contractors’ Networkrepresents contractor associations and their service partners with an interest in delivering energy efficiency through contractors in Ontario. This month, the group has released its fall training dates as follows:
  • Sept. 11 – Ottawa
  • Oct. 28 – Hamilton
  • Oct. 30 – Barrie
  • Nov. 18 – Kitchener/Waterloo
  • Nov. 20 – Kingston
  • Nov. 25 – Toronto
The training is designed to give contractors who serve the small-medium enterprise sector a “green” advantage.

The first half of the workshop will teach students to become qualified and knowledgeable on energy efficient characteristics of specific building types and technologies that fit the students’ trade expertise.

The remainder of the workshop is dedicated to instructing the contractor on how to use the exclusive EECN incentive database for a one-stop-shop on Ontario incentive programs. The database is searchable by both building type and geographic area so that only the incentive programs that are relevant will be pulled by the contractor.
