The New England Fuel Institute’s Technical Training Center will host four half-day classes in December and January at its training lab in Watertown, Mass.

In December (16 & 17), NEFI will offer a half-day course on Massachusetts Oilburner Code 527 CMR 4.00. Each seminar is 3.5 hours in duration, and can be taken in either the morning or afternoon session. The course awards 4 NORA CEUs. 

A new 160-hour Basic Oilburner Installation & Service Technician course starts Dec 29 and runs through Jan. 23, 2009, Monday through Friday, 7am - 3:30pm, for four weeks. InstructorBob Messiateaches the course in the state-of-the-art training lab in Watertown, Mass.

Also, a special seminar is being offered. “Oilheat Wiring for the Electrician,” Jan. 5-6, 2009, is designed for the licensed electrician who would like to learn the specifics of wiring for oilheat systems including hot water, steam, power venters, etc. This is a six-hour course (three hours each day) and will be held in the training lab, Watertown, Mass.

The Training Center has also released its 2009 training schedule for classes being held in the Watertown, Mass., location and at satellite locations throughout New England. (View PDF of the schedule here.)
