Sweeney-Rogers and Frederick Geraghty Announce Merger
Manufacturers rep firms, Sweeney-Rogers Corp and Frederick Geraghty have merged to create Sweeney Rogers Geraghty Corp., combining the assets, strengths and product offerings of the two companies. Prior to the announced merger, both companies served the New England plumbing, heating, and HVAC market specializing in sales, marketing, technical support and training in high quality energy conserving products.
Under the agreement Sweeney Rogers Geraghty Corp.’s New York division located in Syracuse will be called Sweeney Rogers Hartwell and run under the direction of company VP and partnerDan Hartwell. The organization’s New England location will be located at the current Sweeney-Rogers facility located in Raynham, MA.Peter Sweeneywill assume the role of company president withMike Rogersas vice president commercial product sales, andKevin Geraghtyas vice president sales and marketing. In addition,Jack Frederickwill become vice president business development.
Commenting on the merger Frederick Geraghty President Jack Frederick stated, “This new entity represents the addition of strength to strength and signifies both organizations commitment to remain dedicated to their core values of customer service and technical support allowing us to fulfill our pledge of working on behalf of our manufacturers and our customers, by adding value to all the products we sell”.
The merger’s anticipated closing date is April 30, 2010.
