Energy Star Moratorium Ended
After meetings with impacted industries, the Environmental Protection Agency and
the Department of Energy lifted the moratorium on new applications for Energy
Star® qualification. Manufacturers wishing to qualify new products as Energy
Star can now submit test reports from their own lab for review and approval by
EPA prior to labeling.
