The modular prefab approach was selected for its shorter building timeframe of approximately two months, reduction in material waste, and a closed building environment where exposure to the elements do not exist. The home will features solar hot water, PV solar, green roof, radiant under-floor heat, on-demand hot water, zero- and low-VOC finishes, and strand bamboo flooring.
