Montana State explores the use of geothermal system
Bozeman, Mont.-based Montana State University recently begandrilling
a half dozen test bore holes for a possible geothermal heating and cooling
system, the MSU News Service reports. The university will analyze how
geothermal technology fits into its overall energy plan, which includes
upgrading windows and light fixtures and installing a heating system in one
building that reclaims heat from too-warm spaces and transports it to areas
that are too cool.
