At this year’s Oil & Energy Service Professionals’ convention and trade show in Providence, R.I., the annual Care to Ride event (which includes motor bikes, bicycles, walkers and runners) raised more than $72,000 for Oil Heat Cares, the group’s charity arm that provides donated or free oil-heating equipment and free labor to homeowners in need.
Each May, Plumbing & Mechanical writes a feature highlighting several of these projects -click here to read the May 2012 feature. We also give a percentage of the article’s ad proceeds to OHC. You can see me on the left in the accompanying photo handing a check to OESP Executive DirectorJudy Garber, with PM columnist and OHC board memberDan Holohan.
Stay tuned for more on the convention and trade show in the next enewsletter and online.
