The American Solar Energy Society’s National Solar Tour is Oct. 6, in conjunction with National Energy Awareness Month. More than 160,000 participants will visit some 5,500 buildings in 3,200 communities across the country. Buildings showcase solar thermal and solar PV installations. Click on the link above if you have a building you’d like to add to the tour, or you want to find a building in your area to tour.
If you’re thinking about adding solar thermal to your business, I would encourage you to attend a solar tour in your area. Many communities will showcase solar thermal applications as well as solar PV, and some buildings may have both solar technologies installed. It’s a great way to learn about the technology and its different applications.
