This honor marks the first time Uponor has been recognized as a Top Workplace in the U.S., and the eighth time the company has been recognized as a Top Workplace in the State of Minnesota since 2012.
The award was created to showcase outstanding achievements by a woman in the residential service industry. Each year, one woman is recognized for going above and beyond her job in the industry.
Like most kids after graduating high school, Larry Shoemaker went to college. However, he came home after about a year, and started working in his father’s plumbing business, Deluxe Plumbing & Heating.
The awards were presented by IAPMO President David Gans and Vice President Steve Panelli as part of the opening session of IAPMO’s 92nd annual Education and Business Conference, hosted online Sept. 27-30.
The award is given each year to an individual or organization for exceptional service to the plumbing, mechanical, fuel gas and swimming pool/spa (PMG) industry.
