The president and U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have issued a Coronavirus Guidance for America, identifying plumbers and other tradespeople as “essential critical infrastructure workers” as the nation responds to the threat of COVID-19.

To help contain the spread of COVID-19, manufacturers are calling on Congress and federal agencies to adopt numerous legislative and regulatory changes.

In 2019, the WHO started monitoring the outbreak of a new coronavirus which ultimately was named COVID-19. 

This guidance is part of the Department of Labor’s ongoing efforts to educate the workers and employers about the COVID-19 outbreak.
