Petri Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Drain Cleaning is celebrating both World Plumbing Day on March 11 and World Water Day on March 22 by reminding Americans how important plumbing is to human comfort, proper sanitation and water preservation.

Every year on March 11, the international plumbing community comes together to celebrate World Plumbing Day. The day aims to spread awareness of the importance of plumbing and plumbers in protecting public health and improving access to clean water and sanitation facilities. 

Zurn Industries joins plumbing organizations and their members in recognizing World Plumbing Day today.

The World Health Organization reports that 2.6 billion people do not have access to adequate sanitation. The United Nations says more than 1 billion people are living with a shortage of fresh water.

The company believes in the value of World Plumbing Day, an annual international event initiated by the World Plumbing Council, to celebrate the important role plumbing plays in the health and safety of modern society.
