Bemis Manufacturing Co., a manufacturer of toilet and bidet seats, announced its continued partnership with Fight Colorectal Cancer (Fight CRC) for Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.
The family-owned manufacturer donated 100 toilet seats that will be displayed on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., as part of Fight CRC’s United in Blue installation. Each seat will display an awareness fact or statistic about the disease, which is the second-most fatal cancer in the U.S.
To address health and hygiene concerns, Bemis is offering commercial toilet seats with DuraGuard Antimicrobial, a built-in property that inhibits the growth of bacteria.
A copy of the letter American Standard sent to Seacrest and Jenner is shared, accompanied by the above image of the toilets and seats. The products were given as a gift and in no way imply an endorsement, the company explained.
Bemis Mfg.’s Adjustable Easy-Clean and Change toilet seat can be moved forward or backward up to 1/2” to account for varying toilet bowl sizes — both round and elongated.

The hinge allows the ring and cover to close slowly and quietly. The seat is made of molded wood with a high-gloss finish that resists chipping and scratching.
