A typical point-of-use RO system generates anywhere from five to 10 gallons of reject water for every gallon of treated water produced. A point-of-use RO system bearing the WaterSense label will send 2.3 gallons or less down the drain for every gallon of treated water it produces.
These changes will unify the Conformity Assessment Group, merging testing and certification services under one roof to provide consistent, gold standard- level customer service across all departments and all office locations.
This facility marks NSF's first laboratory within continental Europe, offering in-house certification testing for NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 (Drinking Water Chemicals – Health Effects) and NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 (Drinking Water System Components – Health Effects) standards.
The new facility offers nearly 2,000 test stations, including stations for long-term pressure/stress testing and hydrostatic design basis (HDB) and minimum required strength (MRS) ratings, as well as short-term burst and other pressure performance requirements.
