This facility marks NSF's first laboratory within continental Europe, offering in-house certification testing for NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 (Drinking Water Chemicals – Health Effects) and NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 (Drinking Water System Components – Health Effects) standards.
NSF International Standard 53 is internationally recognized as the benchmark for water filtration systems’ effectiveness in reducing specific health-related contaminants.
This partnership comes in response to the revised Lead and Copper Rule (LCRR), which mandates that all water utilities must provide an initial inventory of their LSLs as a step to help eliminate the estimated 9.2 million LSLs in the next decade.
The acquisition extends NSF’s service offerings in the water industry, furthering its commitment to the quality, performance and safety of water products globally.
