Registration and badge pickup. During PHCC’s Legislative Conference held May 22-23, 2018, more than 100 PHCC contractors; state and local chapter executives; and p-h-c industry partners attended.
At the first-timers meeting members encouraged the new comers to make an impression on their senators and congressmen, to brand themselves as the expert and tell them their stories.

Reid Wilson, national correspondent for The Hill, talked about how culture and politics are becoming increasingly intertwined, and how it is the people who are angry who show up to vote.
Boren talked about the importance of apprenticeships and how it can create an all-around skilled worker. He also talked about how the USDOL is innovating and investing in the system.
Attendees were encouraged to ask questions during and after the presentations.
