Pro-Tec Plumbing & Air has promoted Christina Fridley from controller to chief financial officer as the Naples-based company aligns its leadership team to reflect customer growth and a larger service area.
In this role, Fridley is responsible for all accounting activities, which include maintaining the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchase orders and human resources. Additionally, Fridley provides accurate, timely financial information that allows the leadership team to make fact-based decisions that continually improve the company’s performance.
Since Fridley joined Pro-Tec in 2021 as controller, Pro-Tec has added a Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilation (HVAC) division while establishing additional offices in Fort Myers, Babcock Ranch and Ave Maria. The company now provides coverage for residential and commercial customers across Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties.
Prior to joining Pro-Tec, Fridley was controller and chief financial officer for Naples Yacht Club, where she managed all accounting functions, including capital and operational budgets, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, loans, bank reconciliations and fixed assets. Previous roles include controller and office manager for PMS Inc. of Naples, administrator for Walnut Mountain Property Owners Association in Georgia and operations manager for the Domestic Abuse Shelter in Marathon.
Fridley, who has more than 30 years of experience in business management and accounting, earned a bachelor of arts degree from Rasmussen University.
