Jim Kellogg, Ph.D., P.E., P.G., has been named manager of the company’s Nashville office. The strategic change is designed to support client service, innovation, and project delivery as the company continues to grow its presence in Nashville and the Southeastern U.S. Drawing on more than 30 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, Kellogg has covered projects from California to the Southeast, where he has managed various assignments across multiple offices. He is a licensed professional engineer in 10 states, holds numerous certifications, and is active in several professional organizations.
Terracon’s Nashville office opened in 1996 and employs more than 50 professionals who provide environmental, facilities, geotechnical, special inspections and construction materials engineering, and testing services for clients in Tennessee and the surrounding region. Notable clients include the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Metro Nashville Public Schools, Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, Tennessee Board of Regents, Tennessee Tech University, Middle Tennessee State University, and Vanderbilt.
