An employee allegedly shot and killed three workers at two different businesses - including a plumbing wholesaler - in Pelham, Ala., early Aug. 5, according to local officials.
Alan Eugene Miller, 34, is in custody after a brief scuffle off Interstate 65, reports say. Police charged Miller with three counts of capital murder.
Authorities say Miller worked at Ferguson Enterprises, which distributes plumbing and electrical products. Ferguson Enterprises is headquartered in Newport News, Va.
Pelham is a southern suburb of Birmingham with 10,000 people.
Authorities said the victims were Lee Holbrooks, 32, Christopher Yancy, 28, and Terry Jarvis, 39. Holbrooks and Yancy were employees at Ferguson Enterprises.
The motive is not yet known.
This shooting came a week to a day after Mark Barton killed nine people and injured 13 others at two brokerage firms in Atlanta.
