This year’s scholarship winners are:
Goulds Pumps, ITT Award Scholarships
Goulds Pumps and ITT awarded 14 $1,000 scholarships to sons and
daughters of residential well drillers and water systems installer members of
the Goulds Professional Dealers Association. In the 10 years since the GPDA
scholarship program was formed, 120 collegians have been awarded nearly a
quarter-million dollars in scholarships based on demonstrated academic
achievement, community service and leadership.
This year’s scholarship winners are:
Zachary
Ames, son of Ronald Ames of AA&W Plumbing and
Electric, Hardy, Va.
He will attend the University of Virginia (anthopology).
Elizabeth
Buchman, daughter of James and Amy
Buchman of Buchman Heating, Tiffin,
Ohio. She is attending Kent State University’s school of
architecture.
Hannah
Eucker, daughter of Darrell “Butch” and Sally Eucker of Butch’s Services,
Elkhorn, Wis. She will attend the University
of Wisconsin-Whitewater (elementary
education).
Dustin
Franco, son of Steve and Karen
Franco, and grandson of Joe and Judy
Caporgno of Caporgno Pump Service, Hollister,
Calif. He will attend Fresno State
University (agricultural
business).
Rebecca
Nussbaum, daughter of Bob and Anne
Nussbaum of Bob Nussbaum Plumbing and Heating, Fairbury, Ill.
She is attending the University of Illinois (business administration).
Jordan
Paradis, son of Gerard and Lorraine Paradis of Paradise Plumbing and
Heating, Dunrea, Manitoba, Canada.
He attends Assiniboine Community College (business
administration).
Sarah
Elaine Potts, daughter of Dave and Carolyn
Potts of Potts Drilling, Bozeman,
Mont. She will attend Seattle University
(pediatric nursing, with a minor in Spanish).
Kourtney
Saavedra, daughter of Mike and Kristi
Thelander of Hydro Resources, Dalhart,
Texas. She is attending Texas
Tech (pre-med).
Cody
Semmelrock, son of Earl Semmelrock and Sarah Heminway of LaFramboise Well
Drilling, Thompson, Conn. He is attending Williams
College in
Massachusetts.
Rachel
Siegfried, daughter of Donald and Yvonne
Siefried of Henry Yeska & Son, Nazareth, Pa. She will attend Susquehanna University
(business and art).
Scott
Sorenson, son of Monica Sorensen of Regional Plumbing and
Heating, Cavan, Ontario, Canada.
He attends the University of Guelph (environmental science).
Deanne

Del. She will attend Salisbury University
in Maryland (elementary education).
