Danfoss extends the range of its Performer PSH heat pump scroll compressor, adding six smaller-capacity models. Performer PSH compressors operate year-round and need no furnace backup. Simulations demonstrate energy savings of 10% for heat pumps fitted with PSH series compressors compared to those that require a furnace backup. The pumps offer a heating capacity range of 19 kW to 80 kW thanks to innovative liquid injection technology.
