In addition to learning the ins and outs of radiant heating and touring the facilities, the event raised more than $15,000 for the Oil Heat Cares program.



Approximately 150 contractors and fuel oil dealers attended yesterday’sOil Heat Caresfund-raiser at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots. In addition to learning the ins and outs of radiant heating, attendees toured the stadium in Foxborough, Mass., including the players’ locker room and the mechanical room. The event raised more than $15,000 for the Oil Heat Cares program.

The sole sponsor of the event was Taco Inc., and the company’s new educational director, John Barba, gave the keynote address. PM columnists Dan Holohan also gave a presentation on what he saw this year at ISH in Frankfurt, Germany.

Throughout the day, door prizes were raffled off to support the Oil Heat Cares charity. Lunch, dinner and drinks also were provided.
