Viessmann Mfg. Co. recently announced an agreement with geothermal firm NextEnergy to secure North American sales support, installation and service for its high-temperature-output KWT heat pumps.
“The team at NextEnergy brings an impressive array of knowledge, expertise and experience to the table,” said Harald Prell, president of Viessmann North America. “With a diverse in-house team of industry experts and reliable partner focus, NextEnergy is uniquely qualified to create new opportunities for the KWT high-temperature ground-source heat pump in North America.”
Designed with high-temperature-output capacities of 90 kW to 250 kW, KWT heat pumps are ideal for new installations or retrofits in larger residential complexes and commercial operations. They are typically used to recover natural heat — such as solar energy stored in the ground or in groundwater — which is used for efficient domestic hot water and space heating.
These natural heating solutions only require electricity to drive the pumps, offering a cost-effective, environmentally friendly alternative to fossil fuels.
