Jeff Nager is executive vice president and head of commercial lending at The Bancorp. In his role, Nager leads the small business lending and commercial fleet leasing teams. Prior to this position, he served as the Bank’s head of small business lending. With more than 25 years of experience in small business lending, he is currently a board member for the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL), the trade organization for SBA 7(a) lending. He has also served on the organization’s Small Lender, Large Lender and Southeast Regional Liaison Committees.
In 2020, the coronavirus pandemic wreaked havoc on the small business landscape in the U.S., forcing businesses to adapt on a daily basis or face permanent closure.
