Everyone, or almost everyone, wants to be “green” these days. And there has been an explosion of green products and services in the last few years. BNP Plumbing Group editors share their observations of the greening of the construction industry, as well as the world at large.
When it comes to mining construction, it is important to remember that water is an essential part in not only the removal of unwanted water through draining, but also in distributing water to other areas where it is most needed.
Employing green practices not only strengthens the communities in which you work but increases the value of your business in the eyes of potential clients.
In honor of World Plumbing Day — today, March 11 — green building practices and LEED certification guidelines are in the limelight. In order to exist in this world in a way that benefits our local and national communities and conserves water, our most valuable resource, clean and sustainable plumbing practices are essential.
If you’re a woman in the construction trades, invest the time
to hone your green building skills. And if you’re a woman looking for a career
change, don’t overlook the construction trades; the green building movement
could change your life.
