GF Building Flow Solutions Americas (formerly Uponor North America), a global provider of Uponor-branded products, is launching Uponor ChlorFIT Schedule 80 Corzan CPVC (Uponor ChlorFIT), marking the largest portfolio expansion in the company’s history.
According to a news release, the new offerings are engineered for commercial domestic water and low temperature hydronics, with durability and reliability in mind. Available in sizes from ½" to 8" and custom orders up to 24", Uponor ChlorFIT offers a comprehensive range of products, including pipe, fittings, valves, and ProPEX transitions for seamless integration with Uponor PEX-a.
“This launch is a natural fit as we tap into existing GF technology while leveraging the legacy industry-leading water brand of Uponor,” John Reutter, interim president of GF Building Flow Solutions Americas, said in a public statement. “We will build upon our existing reputation in commercial domestic water, mechanical piping, and radiant heating and cooling, backed by product quality and expertise, while GF Piping Systems will own industrial relationships.”
Uponor ChlorFIT is ideal for a wide range of applications, including:
- Multifamily, hospitality, and education buildings;
- New construction, renovation, and retrofit projects;
- Hot and cold potable water distribution;
- Low-temperature hydronic piping; and

“GF Building Flow Solutions has more than 400 sellers between our rep agency network and factory teams focused on the commercial water markets,” Matt Bahr, vice president of Sales at GF Building Flow Solutions Americas, said in a public statement. “GF Piping Systems has three vinyl manufacturing plants and five distribution centers. The combination of the GF Building Flow Solutions sales organization and the GF Piping Systems manufacturing capabilities will unlock new value for our customers in the commercial water space. This is the first major synergy project since GF acquired Uponor. There are many more planned that we are excited to share in the near future. Combined, the divisions have 75,000 parts and more than $1.2B in piping systems technologies.”
